Bulgarian Customs Inspectors Seize Nearly 5 Million Illegal Cigarettes Hidden Behind Lentils

Kulata. Customs inspectors at Kulata checkpoint on the Bulgarian-Greek border have seized a container of 4,850,000 million illegal cigarettes hidden behind lentils, announced the press center of the National Customs Agency. On Tuesday the customs inspectors checked a container traveling from the Greek city of Thessaloniki to Bulgaria's capital Sofia. According to its documents the container should have been loaded with lentils from Canada. The check established that the container contained mainly cigarettes without excise stamps and some lentils. The case was referred to an investigating customs inspector. Enditem
