China Tobacco Business Logistics Co. Delegation Visits Hongta Group

A five-member delegation from China Tobacco Business Logistics Co., Ltd., led by Deputy General Manager Fan Jianzhi, visited Hongta Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - a leading Chinese tobacco manufacturer - on March 8, hearing reports on Hongta Group's work of logistics over a recent period of time, and urging the tobacco manufacturer to make greater successes in the work of logistics in future.

Accompanied by Deputy General Manager Gao Xingzhi and other leaders of Yunnan Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corporation, the delegation was warmly received by Deputy CEO Wang Yong and other leaders of Hongta Group during the visit. During the visit, Fan Jianzhi said that in the process of promoting the development of a modern logistics system for the tobacco industry, Hongta Group has responded actively, has made rapid progress, and has acted swiftly, making many substantive headway, expressing the hope that Hongta Group will keep up the momentum of favorable development and will make continued successes, in order to gain more experience in promoting the development of a modern logistics system, realize greater achievements, and make grater contribution to exploring new ways of promoting the development of a modern logistics system for China's tobacco industry. In reporting Hongta Group's work of logistics over a recent period of time, Wang Yong said that over recent years, Hongta Group, in the process of establishing its logistics center, has overcome the difficulties of tightness of the schedule and arduousness of tasks, accomplishing all aspects of the work of establishment, and initially realizing substantive operation of the logistics center. As a result, the logistics center stood tests in the purchase of leaf tobacco as raw materials in 2011, and in operation in the spring transportation season in early 2012, making satisfactory achievements, Wang Yong said.
