China: Xinjiang Regional Company Kicks Off Project of Information-Based Management of Retail Terminals

The tobacco monopoly administration of northwest China's Xinjiang Uigur Autonomous Region, which doubles as the tobacco company of the region, has recently kicked off its project of developing a system of information-based management of modern tobacco retail terminals in the region, in efforts to step up the local development of modern tobacco retail terminals. In the execution of the project, the regional tobacco monopoly administration will strive to establish a modern system of information-based management of tobacco retail terminals to realize intelligent management and regulatory unity of customer service, establishment of terminals, consumer studies, etc. The project is designed to establish a modern platform for information-based management of tobacco retail terminals by means of developing an open and easily extendable structural system, to meet the requirement of development of the business of terminal establishment; make a use of the modern Internet and 3G network technologies and adopt the mode of integration to establish intelligent systems integrating the functions of online placement of orders, online assignment of distribution, online accounts settlement, online marketing, sales management, information interaction, establishment of communities of associations and brands clubs for retail terminals, thus to lower the cost of management of customers and promote the establishment of retail terminals to a higher level.
