HongyunHonghe, City Tobacco Company Sign Pact on Marketing Coordination

The HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer - signed on July 15 an agreement with Wuhan City Tobacco Company in central China's Hubei Province on bilateral coordination in cigarette marketing for the year 2010.

The agreement was signed at the conclusion of a round of bilateral talks held in Hubei's provincial capital city of Wuhan on coordination in the marketing of cigarettes produced by HongyunHonghe in Wuhan City, with the participation of top leaders from both sides.

Speaking at the talks, Director Liu Yutang of Wuhan City Tobacco Company said that cigarettes produced by HongyunHonghe have already taken 40 percent of the cigarette market shares in Wuhan City, and that cigarette products of HongyunHonghe have taken an important strategic position at the marketplace in Wuhan. He praised cigarette supplies from HongyunHonghe as an important source of profit making for retailers in Wuhan City.
Liu said that Wuhan City Tobacco Company's choice of HongyunHonghe as a cooperation partner means the choice of a most credible supplier with the greatest core value.
He pledged that Wuhan City Tobacco Company will, with a high sense of responsibility for HongyunHonghe, take the development of markets for Yunyan and Honghe brand cigarettes of HongyunHonghe as a primary task through accurate marketing, careful maintenance and serious preparation for the supply of Yunyan (Red Impression) to the cigarette market in Wuhan as a new product.
Besides, Wuhan City Tobacco Company will do its bit to publicize the corporate culture of the Yunyan cigarette brand of HongyunHonghe and demonstrate the value of the Yunyun cigarette brand.
