The construction of the distribution center was started in March 2007. Both the designing and construction of the distribution center were in line with the policy of building it into a "first-rate distribution center in the world that will be advanced in China". The distribution center is of the function of paging communication and also the functions of storage, assortment, allotment and distribution of cigarette supplies in an integral way. It is capable of effectively coordinating the flow of goods, distribution and information exchange with one another, which are both relatively independent and mutually supportive.
