Logistics Technology Company Wins Bid for Technical Transformation of Tobacco Manu Facturer

The New Trend International Logistics Technology Ltd. in south China's Shenzhen City has won a bid for technical transformation of the Seven Wolves brand superior-class cigarette production lines and establishment of a logistic automation system at Fujian Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corporation in southeast China's Fujian Province. A total of four enterprises responded to the tender invitation by Fujian Provincial China Tobacco Industry Corporation. As a result, the New Trend International Logistics Technology Ltd. emerged victorious and won the bid by getting the highest scores on all the three bid proposals. The three bid proposals were respective those of "formulas, auxiliary materials and finished product", "cut tobacco container storage" and "filter tip curing", covering the six subsystems of formulas and cigarette packaging, cut tobacco container storage, Grade One storage of auxiliary materials, auxiliary materials balance, finished products and filter tip curing. The taskforce in charge of the work of technical transformation of the Seven Wolves brand superior-class cigarette production lines and establishment of the logistic automation system started the drafting of the big proposals in July 2007. It successively contacted many advanced foreign and Chinese logistics technology companies to conduct technical exchanges on many occasions. In this process, the taskforce respectively visited these companies to inspect the relevant logistic systems and key equipment as well as their operation. In efforts to realize highly flexible production on the Seven Wolves brand superior-class cigarette production line, many new technologies and much new equipment will be applied in the technical transformation of the production lines and establishment of the logistic automation system.
