Nine Cigarette Brands Enter Catalogue of Top 200 Famous Chinese Brands

Nine big competitive cigarette brands of China's tobacco industry have entered the Catalogue of Top 200 Famous Chinese Brands for 2005 jointly determined through appraisal by the World Famous Enterprises Alliance of Patriotic Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce, U.S.-China Economic and Trade Investment General Chamber of Commerce, the Global Chinese Brands Selection and Promotion Science Research Institute, the Global Chinese Famous Brands Network, etc. The nine big competitive cigarette brands are Chunghwa, Mount Hongtashan, Yunyan, the Hibiscus King, Liqun, Baisha, Honghe, the Red Golden Dragon and the Great Red Eagle. Unveiled in Beijing on October 31, the Catalogue of Top 200 Famous Chinese Brands for 2005 includes famous brands of Chinese goods competitively selected from among more than 1,000 well-known brands from the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, on the basis of appraisal in accordance with international standards.
