New Products of Hongta Group Well Received

Two new high-grade, high-quality cigarette products of Hongta Group - the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer - have been well received by consumers since they went up the market in a number of Chinese regions around May 1. The two new products of the famous Hongtashan brand family - Renweifeng (People First) and Xinshili (New Force) - were developed by Hongta Group over the past more than one year. Around the beginning of this month, they both went up the market in a number of Chinese provinces and cities including Wuxi, Kunming and Dali as well Guangdong and Sichuan. Over recent years, Hongta Group, based in the southwestern province of Yunnan, has stuck to the policy of focusing its energy on the main business of cigarette production, improving the quality of existing products, developing new products and strengthening its competitiveness on a full scale. In a latest round of structural reform, Hongta Group has acquired Chuxiong and Dali Cigarette Factories in the same province. Presently, Hongta Group is conducting its third round of large-scale technical transformation. In accordance with the demand of consumers, Hongta Group developed the two new products on the basis of appraisal by consumers from all Chinese regions and after repeated tests. The development of the new products has just reflected Hongta Group's innovation of technology and management and upgrading of its research and development capacity. Like other products of Hongta Group, both new products are manufactured mainly with high-quality leaf tobacco grown in Yuxi City of Yunnan Province - the largest tobacco-producing region in China known as the kingdom of tobacco - which generates the original natural flavor of tobacco. The HT-2 special filter tip and hi-tech germ-control tipping paper exclusively possessed by Hongta Group are used in manufacturing the two new products, contributing to increasing the mildness and safety of smoking and increasing moisture in mouth feel.
