You Yan in Liaoning Provides Raw Materials for Chunghwa Cigarette

Shanghai Cigarette Factory has recently chosen C1L and C2L tobacco produced in You Yan in Liaoning Province as the main filling materials for Chunghwa cigarettes. Chunghwa is a leading product of Shanghai Cigarette Factory and the factory is very strict with selection of tobacco leaf. Chunghwa chooses C1L and C2L grades of tobacco as its filling materials, which are nonesuch in the serial lemon-colored tobacco. The C1L and C2L types of tobacco are the best of tobacco made in You Yan. Shanghai Cigarette Factory has sent professionals to observe in Northeastern China. They were fascinated to see You Yan tobacco. They told Jiang Shengliang, manager of You Yan Tobacco Company, that the local tobacco was very good while suggesting increase of production scale. Shanghai Cigarette Factory purchased all the two grades of tobacco immediately and promised to purchase all in the future. There are 13 counties producing tobacco in Liaoning Province. But only a few can produce C1L and C2L tobacco. You Yan is the most traditional tobacco production base in Liaoning and also the only tobacco production base in the region of Anshan. In history, You Yan used to grow tobacco as many as more than 53000 mu. It is adaptable to plant tobacco in You Yan, which enjoys advantages in soil quality, climate, temperature and rainfall. The C1L and C2L grades of tobacco are taken as high-quality filling materials with good sense of taste, pure smoking taste, high rate of dilation and appropriate amount of sugar and nicotine. The output of the two grades of tobacco has been fairly low currently. Jiang Shengliang said the demand of Shanghai Cigarette Factory exceeded their productivity last year. Therefore, the local tobacco company increased growing areas this year, up from more than 1000 mu last year to 2300 mu this year. You Yan Tobacco Company has increased investment in science and technology for tobacco output, while providing tobacco seedlings, follow-up technical services and sales guarantee at the end of the year for local tobacco farmers.
