Nicaragua: My Father Releasing Limited Edition Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial

There's a dark, bold broadleaf cigar coming to market next week. On May 8, My Father Cigars will ship the Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial Limited Edition 2017, a large Toro featuring a broadleaf wrapper and powerful tobacco.

It's the first time since 2011 that My Father has launched this limited release, which is capped at a mere 3,000 boxes.

Billed as a full-bodied, full-flavored blend, the cigar draws its strength from a dark broadleaf wrapper grown in Connecticut, a Nicaraguan binder and strong Cuban-seed Nicaraguan filler tobacco, including two leaves of Pelo d'Oro.

According to the company, the wrapper is a viso-class priming, which means that the leaf came from the mid portion of the plant.

The Jaime Garcia Limited Edition comes in a single-size Toro, measuring 6 1/2 inches by 52 ring gauge and retails for $17 each. Each box contains 16 Toros.

Although a regular-production Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial brand exists in the market, this limited edition is made with a different blend. As the name suggest, both cigars were created by Jaime Garcia and are made in Nicaragua at the My Father Cigars S.A. factory. Enditem
