The Fattest Cuban La Gloria Cubana Comes To Asia Pacific Source from: cigaraficionado 05/16/2016 The La Gloria Cubana Revolution, a Cuban cigar made especially for the Asia Pacific region, is the plumpest Cuban La Gloria Cubana on the market. Marketed as part of Cuba's Edición Regional program, the Revolution measures 5 1/8 inches by 55 ring gauge—one of the fattest smokes that Cuba produces. The size is known as a Montesco in Cuban cigar factories and was first put into normal production back in 2010 when Habanos released the Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill. "We wanted to offer a new size to our Asian market," said a representative of Pacific Cigar Ltd., the official distributor for Cuban cigars for the Asia Pacific region. "Our aim is to avoid repetition with our Regional Editions." Available now, the La Gloria Cubana Revolution retails for HK$308 ($39.70) and comes packaged in 20-count wooden boxes. Only 2,500 boxes are being produced. |
