Nat Sherman Adds Three Sizes To Panamericana Line

Coinciding with this week's Tobacconists Association of America conference, Nat Sherman announced it will be adding three new sizes to its TAA-exclusive Panamericana line.

Joining the original four Panamericana vitolas will be the stout Robustico, measuring 4 inches by 54 ring gauge; a large Gordo, 6 by 60; and the Belicoso Fino, 5 1/2 by 52, which will be the first figurado in the line.

Attendees at the TAA conference in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, will have the opportunity to sample the new sizes before they ship to TAA retailers in late spring.

Panamericana consists of an Ecuador Sumatra wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Costa Rica and Nicaragua. The brand is manufactured by the Plasencia family at their factory in EstelĂ, Nicaragua. The cigars come in slide-lid boxes of 10 and range between $8.55 and $12.05. The new sizes are expected to be similar in both packaging and price.

Panamericana debuted in 2014 as an exclusive cigar sold only at the Nat Sherman Townhouse, the company's flagship store in New York City. Last year, Nat Sherman expanded Panamericana's availability to authorized TAA retailers, which consists of about 80 tobacconists across the United States.

The original Panamericana line consisted of four vitolas: Secretos, measuring 4 by 40; Epicure, 5 by 50; Cervantes, 6 by 43; and Julieta, 7 by 48. Enditem
