C.L.E. To Release TAA Exclusive Brand

The C.L.E. Cigar Company is set to debut the new C.L.E. Azabache, a limited-edition, three-size brand that will be sold exclusively through retailers that are members of the Tobacconists Association of America.

The cigar will debut at the TAA's 48th annual meeting in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, which takes place March 6 to 10.

"Last year, we released the Asylum Nyctophilia at TAA. This year, we decided to showcase a cigar under the C.L.E. portfolio," said C.L.E. Cigar Company founder Christian Eiroa.

Named after the glistening coal often used in Latin cultural jewelry, Azabache's filler tobaccos consist of Honduran Corojo, Nicaraguan Habano and Peruvian Pelo de Oro held together by two Honduran binders. This bunch is covered in a Mexican San Andrés wrapper. All the Honduran tobaccos were grown on Eiroa's farms.

Azabache, which is rolled at the Aladino Factory in Danlí, Honduras, will debut in three sizes, each named after the cigar's dimensions: 50x5, 54x6 and 60x6. The cigars come packed in 25-count boxes and retail between $7 and $9. Only 320 boxes will be made available per size. Enditem
