Espinosa''s New Mexican-Wrapped Cigar

There's a dark, new brand coming from Espinosa Cigars this April, and it showcases a near-black Mexican wrapper. It's called the Espinosa Especial and the new line combines what brand-owner Eric Espinosa refers to as a Mexican Capa Negra wrapper with an all-Nicaraguan blend.

"The fillers are made up from the four main growing regions of Nicaragua: EstelĂ, Jalapa, Condega and Ometepe," Espinosa said.

Despite the fact that Espinosa has two other brands with dark, Mexican wrappers and Nicaraguan internal tobaccos (Espinosa Maduro and Murcielago), Espinosa insists that this release is, nevertheless, unique in his portfolio.

"Unlike our existing Espinosa Maduro, the Especial is a new concept with its own distinct personality," he said.

Packaged in 10-count boxes, Espinosa Especial cigars will come in three sizes: No. 1, 6 1/2 inches by 48 ring; No. 4, 5 by 52 and No. 5, 6 by 54. They are made in Nicaragua at the La Zona cigar factory. Enditem
