<strong>China: Chunghwa Brand Sales Income over 100 Billion Yuan in First Seven Months</strong>

On August 4, "Chunghwa" brand cigarette sales income over 100 billion Yuan RMB so far this year, a month earlier to achieve sales income target than 2013. This is the important achievement gained by building upgrade version of Chunghwa brand in Shanghai Tobacco Group co., LTD.  and it laid a solid foundation for realizing taxes and profits sustaining growth.

Since 2014, Shanghai Tobacco Group carried out Chunghwa core brand development strategy. In the first half year, Chunghwa brand sales volume increased 12 percent year-on-year.

In the first half year, Shanghai Tobacco Group studied the market order, and continued to:  deepen precision marketing strategy, to extend the precision marketing to markets at the county level; to strengthen the management of "quality chain" of cigarette materials, to build a lean manufacturing system; to speed up the construction of Pudong Technology Innovation park, to promote innovation-driven development ability; to improve the market response ability and service level; to Innovate ways to expand the international market, from the general trade way to production and sales in local place, and to build it into the first China cigarette brand in overseas markets.
