Japan: Silk Cut Unveils Limited Edition Packs

2014 is a big year for Silk Cut as the brand celebrates 50 years of doing things differently. To support this key milestone, Silk Cut will be introducing five optical art (op art) inspired limited edition packs on the Purple, Blue & Silver 20s variants.

Available nationally from the 1st April for 8 weeks, these original packs include, for the first time, the limited edition design on the inner frame and tipping elements as well. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to profit from JTI's leading premium brand.

Jeremy Blackburn, JTI's head of communications, said: "Silk Cut has been sparking conversation since 1964, and to mark this significant 50 year milestone we are introducing five limited edition op art packs, inspired by the artistic movement of the time."

To thank retailers for their contribution in making Silk Cut an iconic brand over the last 50 years, the brand is offering 10 lucky winners the chance to share in £50,000 worth of advertising to boost their business.  Retailers can choose to place an advertisement in their local press, create a radio advertisement, create a website or improve their store or van signage.

There are a number of different ways to enter this original competition so keep your eyes open from May in the trade press and at your local tobacco wholesaler/Cash & Carry.

In another original move from Silk Cut, this activity follows the recent launch of the UK's first SuperSlims crush filter product, Silk Cut SuperSlims Choice. Silk Cut is JTI's leading premium cigarette brand, accounting for 20% of sales within the sector. Enditem
