General Cigar Amps Up Partagas 1845 With Extra Fuerte Line Source from: cigaraficionado 03/05/2014 ![]() This month, fans of General Cigar's Partagas 1845 will have a new, fuller-bodied version of the brand to look forward to. The Partagas 1845 Extra Fuerte is an amped-up interpretation of the original 1845 line, which first launched in 2012. Two years later, General is ready to bring the line into more full-bodied territory with this brick-and-mortar exclusive. Blended by Jhonys Diaz, General's vice president of operations, along with its development team, the Partagas 1845 Extra Fuerte combines a high-priming Ecuador Havana wrapper with a Connecticut Havana binder and a filler blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobacco. "These new collections enhance the taste spectrum of Partagas 1845, which is one of the best-selling blends in our portfolio," said marketing Vice President Alan Wilner. The new line comes presented in the same eye-catching wood and plexiglass boxes as the original. The band design is the same as well, save for its change from gold to silver. Enditem |
