Imperial Tobacco Gives Lambert & Butler Value Blue Version

Imperial Tobacco is aiming to meet demand for cheaper cigarettes with a value version of its Lambert & Butler brand.

Lambert & Butler Blue will be available in two varieties, King Size and Smooth, both with an rsp of £6.40 for packs of 19.

"Consumers are looking for lower-priced, quality products, and manufacturers need to respond to this," said Imperial Tobacco senior brand manager Alison Williams. She added that L&B Blue would appeal to smokers who had switched from Lambert & Butler and value smokers who hadn't been able to afford the brand.
