China: Septwolves Tobacco Technology Lab Sets First-phase Working Targets

The Septwolves Tobacco Technology Joint Laboratory operated by Fujian Longyan Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd. in southeast China's Fujian Province held its first working session on November 11-15, setting on the basis of discussion the working targets and tasks for the first phase operation of the joint laboratory.

In an address entitled "Tobacco Technology Research Guidelines With Quality Control as the Core" delivered at the working session, Deputy Director Du Jingsong of the joint laboratory raised the question of how to better introduce the mathematical statistics technology into research of tobacco technology.

The participants in the working session once again discussed in detail quality in the various processes of cigarette production and the relevant factors that may cast impacts, and also discussed the working targets and tasks for the first phase operation of the joint laboratory.

Meanwhile, in accordance with the orientation of "stabilizing quality, controlling quality, improving quality and balancing quality", and in light of the realities of enterprises, the joint laboratory made clear specific research subjects of the joint laboratory and plans for its routine work, and designated leading units for undertaking research and chief leaders in charge of research work.

Attending the working session were representatives from the technology center of China Tobacco Fujian Industrial Co., Ltd., Longyan Cigarette Factory, Xiamen Cigarette Factory, Zhengzhou Tobacco Research Institute and other relevant members of the joint laboratory.  Enditem
