China: Gaoyang Starts Production of New Version of Gold Deer Cigarettes

Shanghai Gaoyang International Tobacco Co. in east China's Shanghai City started production of cigarettes of the Taiwan version of the K version of cigarettes of Gold Deer (Hard Yellow 8mg) on September 24, under license from Shanghai Tobacco Group - the owner of the Gold Deer cigarette brand family. In accordance with the requirements of Shanghai Tobacco Group for the new version of Gold Deer cigarettes in terms of the formula of cut tobacco, raw and auxiliary materials and production identification, all production lines at Gaoyang are exerting all efforts and mobilizing cooperation by the entire workforce to ensure a complete success in the production of a first new version of cigarettes by the enterprise in 2012. In the production of the new version of cigarettes, the quality control lines at Gaoyang have launched experimental work in terms of the production formula, technological requirements, modification of equipment, etc. The production lines at all workshops have actively organized the various shifts to launch professional training, and to interpret in detail the changes of parameters including water content and temperature, the operation process of cut tobacco blending and the new requirements for the identification marks of cigarette packets. Meanwhile, the company has flexibly designated human resources to organize production by adopting means of artificial release of cut tobacco and cleaning of equipment in continued shifts. The equipment lines are prepared at any time, and make a full use of intervals in production to take samples for analysis and pertinently make readjustment of the mechanical and electrical appliances, to rapidly make equipment more adaptable to new materials in production.
