HongyunHonghe, Beijing Tobacco Company Cooperate in Brands Development

The HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - the largest Chinese tobacco manufacturer - and Beijing City Tobacco Company jointly held a ceremony in Beijing City on April 9 to start bilateral cooperation and coordination in the development of competitive cigarette brands.

Attending the ceremony were General Manager Zhou Ruizeng and Deputy General Manager Zhong Changlin of Beijing City Tobacco Company, Deputy Director Liang Baogui of Beijing City Tobacco Monopoly Administration, HongyunHonghe President Wu Yi, HongyunHonghe's Communist Party Committee Secretary Xu Liwei, HongyunHonghe Vice-Presidents Feng Bin and Wang Jiashou, and leaders of the district and county tobacco companies in Beijing.
In an address to the ceremony, Wu briefed the dignitaries attending the ceremony on the economic operation of HongyunHonghe in 2009 and its development guidelines and key points of work in a future period of time.
"In the development of markets in Beijing, we will, under the guidance of Beijing City Tobacco Company, always do a good job as a manufacturer, earnestly fulfill our tasks and earnestly accomplish our missions," Wu said.
In a separate address to the ceremony, Zhou said that for many years, cigarette brands of HongyunHonghe have been relatively well marketable in Beijing, expressing the wish that HongyunHonghe and Beijing City Tobacco Company will make concerted efforts to further increase the market shares of brands of HongyunHonghe and make them more competitive at the marketplace in Beijing.
At the ceremony, Wu and Zhong signed an agreement on cooperation and coordination between HongyunHonghe and Beijing City Tobacco Company in the development of competitive cigarette brands, signifying that cooperation between the two sides has entered a new phase. Enditem
