Seven Wolves to Get Yuan1 Billion Production Makeover Source from: Sep 25, 2007 09/26/2007 ![]() Longyan Cigarette Factory is to spend about Yuan1 billion on increasing the production capacity of its Jingpin (Superior) Seven Wolves cigarette brand, according to a Tobacco China Online report quoting local sources in Fujian. Initially, the new facilities will have the capacity to produce 20 billion cigarettes a year, but provision is to be made to increase this capacity in the future.
The State Tobacco Monopoly Administration has approved the factory's plan and work will now go ahead on a project that is expected to be completed by the second half of 2009.
According to the report, the construction site will cover an area of 86,820 square meters and will include production buildings, warehouses and support buildings.
The facilities will include a series of new cigarette making and packing lines, filter production machinery, and logistical support and distribution equipment. The secondary will be fed from a primary with a 6,000 kg per hour lamina line, a 1,500 kg per hour stem line, and a 500 kg per hour test line.
Part of the existing cigarette making and packing equipment will be relocated to the new site. Enditem
