Key Cigarette Brand Becomes Landmark Brand for Province

Yunyan (Yunnan Tobacco) - a leading competitive cigarette brand of Hongyun Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province - has been rated as a landmark commodity brand of Yunnan by China National Brands Research Institute. On August 15, China National Brands Research Institute released a list of 275 brands including Yunyan from all the provinces, autonomous regions and provincial-level municipalities in the Mainland that have been rated as landmark commodity brands on the basis of expert appraisal. Created in 1958, Yunyan has been a representative cigarette brand for the tobacco industry of China, with a glorious course of development from the status of a First-Class Grade A cigarette brand to a national-level famous and high-quality cigarette brand. Over the past 48 years, Yunyan has won nearly 100 titles of honor awarded by the State, Yunnan Province and central government ministries. It is among a limited number of Chinese cigarette brands that have won the three key titles of a national-level gold medal winner, a well-known Chinese cigarette brand and a famous-brand Chinese product.
